Disinfection Level Monitoring Violation - 3rd Quarter 2025
The City of Stockdale missed submitting chlorine monitoring results to TCEQ for the 3rd quarter of 2025. This was not an emergency. Staff training is underway to prevent future reporting delays.

Natural Gas Pipelines
The City of Stockdale does not maintain customer piping beyond the meter. Buried gas lines on private property may be at risk of leaks or corrosion if not properly cared for. Customers are encouraged to have their lines inspected regularly and repaired if unsafe conditions are found. Always use caution when digging near buried lines and call the City immediately if you have safety concerns. For more information: CLICK HERE
Utility Assistance Available – Apply Now
Stockdale residents may be eligible for utility assistance through the Community Council of South Central Texas (CCSCT). This program helps qualifying households pay their energy bills. Click HERE to view the flyer and apply for assistance.
2024 Consumer Confidence Report – City of Stockdale Water System
Annual Water Quality Report (January 1 – December 31, 2024)
This report provides important information about the quality of the drinking water supplied by the City of Stockdale. It outlines where our water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to state and federal standards. Road Closure in Stockdale on Wednesdays
First Baptist Church will be closing W Mayer Street from 7th Street to the Stockdale Food Pantry every Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. This temporary closure is for the safety of children and youth who are moving between buildings during their Midweek Activities.
Subdivision Ordinance – City of Stockdale
The City of Stockdale has adopted an updated Subdivision Ordinance that sets the rules and standards for how land can be divided and developed within the city limits and our extraterritorial jurisdiction.
This ordinance outlines:

The process for submitting and approving subdivision plats

Minimum design and construction standards for streets, utilities, drainage, and public spaces

Requirements for water, sewer, and storm drainage improvements

Rules for mobile home placement and parks

Procedures for variances, inspections, and enforcement

Lead Line Survey Notice - April 29, 2025
