Jackson Nature Park

The Jackson Nature Park is a 50-acre park located south of  Stockdale on Wilson County Road 401.  The land was donated to Wilson County by Mrs. Cloma Jackson in 1999 for use as a natural area and a place for recreation. The San Antonio River Authority maintains and operates the Park.

Stockdale Museum

The Stockdale Museum is housed in the office of Dr. Ella Ware. Dr. Ware was one of the first women to graduate with a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical College in Galveston, and practiced for 50 years in Stockdale.

The museum is open on the second Tuesdays of the month and when special events are held downtown.

Stockdale's Pond

The pond is located in Stockdale’s own Central Park near Bryce Field. It’s not just a fishing pond, it’s a wonderful park for people in Stockdale and the surrounding areas to gather and relax and take a deep breath. The pond has picnic tables, a beautiful fountain and it is regularly stocked with fish. Fishing license is required.

Adjacent to the sporting areas, there is a practical kitchen building, facilitating community events and activities. Stockdale City Park stands as a practical and well-utilized space, catering to the diverse needs of our community.

Bryce Field boasts bleachers and dug out area as well as a walk/jog course around the field that is approximately .5 miles.
