The Carnival will run for three nights:
Thursday, June 18: 6 PM – 10 PM
Friday, June 19: 6 PM – 11 PM
Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
(Park open to the public)
Free entry, ride wristbands sold separately
Wednesday - June 17
Coronation 6 PM
Join us for the Coronation of Queen Melone on Wednesday, June 17, in the Stockdale Junior High Gym. Doors open to the public—come witness the crowning ceremony and celebrate our community’s newest royalty!
Friday - June 19
Gates open at 6 PM
Diamond Cross Rodeo 7 PM
Concert (after Rodeo)
The excitement kicks off Friday evening as the 82nd Annual Watermelon Jubilee gets underway with the opening of the Jubilee grounds is at 6:00 PM. Come enjoy delicious food, browse local vendors, and experience the excitement of the carnival. The Diamond Cross Rodeo begins at 7:00 PM, bringing all the action and thrills you'd expect from a Texas rodeo. Stick around after the rodeo for a live concert featuring Cory Morrow with opening act Tyler Halverson. It's a night of music, laughter, and memories you won't want to miss!

Saturday is packed full of fun for the whole family! The day begins with the beloved Watermelon Jubilee Parade down Main Street at 9:00 AM, followed by the Car Show and a lively afternoon at the park from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Kade Dixon with Neon Windmill will perform on the Bud Light Stage from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Visitors can meet Tyson the Watusi, enjoy the Washer Tournament and Chicken Drop Bingo, watch Duncan's Martial Arts and Fire Dragon Tumbling demonstration, experience the vibrant traditions of Danza Azteca de Yanaguana, browse craft and food vendors, and take part in fan favorite contests including the Watermelon Eating Contest and Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest.
After a short break, the Jubilee grounds reopen at 6:00 PM for another exciting evening. The Diamond Cross Rodeo kicks off at 7:00 PM, followed by a concert featuring The Spazmatics with opening act Small Town Habit. It's the perfect way to cap off a joyful Jubilee weekend in Stockdale!

🤠 Watermelon Jubilee Rodeo 🤠
The rodeo portion of the Jubilee is produced by Diamond Cross Rodeo Company, bringing professional rodeo entertainment to Stockdale each year.
Rodeo events feature exciting competitions and crowd favorites, including fan favorites like Mutton Bustin’, where young riders get their chance in the arena.

The Watermelon Jubilee Queen’s Court is a long standing tradition that gives local students the opportunity to represent Stockdale while earning scholarship opportunities and serving the community.

New for the 2026 Jubilee is the Rodeo VIP Suite Experience, offering an upgraded way to enjoy the rodeo and concert.
VIP package includes:
• Private A/C suite overlooking the rodeo arena

Jubilee Royalty
The Watermelon Jubilee has two sets of royalty. Queen Melone and her court is more formal while the Rodeo Queen and her court have a western theme. The coronation of Queen Melone dates back to 1937 and the Rodeo Queen dates back to 1962. Both courts represent Stockdale at various parades and other events.
